A Vision to See Men Grow Spiritually

Blog Archives:

The vision of EduDeo Ministries is to see "every community transformed by the Gospel." This vision is huge. It extends beyond the reach of our organization. It also spans the world. Our focus, at this point in our existence, is to focus on developing countries, the majority world. However, we recognize that our HANDS Program (short-term volunteer mission trips) participants can play a role in transforming their own, Canadian communities as well.

Promise Keepers-Canada (PK-Canada) also acknowledges that short-term mission trips can impact individuals who serve in another country. PK-Canada has a vision to see men grow spiritually. This growth results in men having a greater impact on their own families and communities. Rather than setting up their own short-term mission program, PK-Canada decided to investigate several organizations to determine who administers these trips well. After several meetings, our organization was selected and we entered into partnership with Promise Keepers-Canada. We have great respect for Kirk Giles, the PK-Canada President and give his staff and Board credit for desiring to partner with another organization that handles short-term teams well. They will be a blessing to us as we strive to see communities transformed by the Gospel through Christ-centred education in other countries. We are pleased to provide an excellent venue for the men they are connected with to humbly serve and allow God to use them to impact more and more communities in Canada upon their return.

Three PK-Canada trips are planned for this coming HANDS season. They will be a blessing to our partners in providing both dignity and much needed financial resources – as well as assist us in reaching our vision!
